Prompt Bank

A self-discovery and reflection system

When applying to universities, students are often asked who they are, what they value, and who they aspire to become — yet many have never paused to reflect on these questions, making applications and career choices difficult. In response, 11th-grade students at Human International School developed Prompt Bank. The system encourages students to answer one question every day, helping them reflect on their experiences, values, goals, and interests while building a consistent habit of self-reflection and journaling. Self-awareness is a skill that influences not only university applications but also future educational choices, career decisions, and important life decisions. The team envisions Prompt Bank not as a one-time initiative but as a sustainable system that educational institutions can adopt long term, and is currently exploring future development opportunities, pilot testing, and potential partnerships.
