TOG-E

A system for developing relationships and friendships

While technology has made communication easier than ever, international studies continue to show increasing levels of loneliness and social isolation among young people. Although we are more connected digitally, genuine friendships, meaningful relationships, and quality time spent together are becoming increasingly rare. Schools teach mathematics and science, yet opportunities to systematically learn how to maintain friendships, resolve conflicts, listen to others, and build healthy relationships remain limited. To address this issue, 11th-grade students at Human International School developed TOG-E. The system encourages students to create real-life connections, strengthen friendships, and build meaningful memories together through positive social initiatives and activities. The team is working to develop TOG-E not as a one-time activity, but as a long-term social relationship system that can be implemented in schools, families, and organizations.
